Slippery Rock brewing up a fun time

North Country Brewing Company’s annual brewfest is slated Saturday, Aug. 3 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at its production facility and taproom, 111 Arrowhead Drive, Slippery Rock.

Attendees will have access to samples from 30 local breweries and wineries as they listen to live music from the talents of Paul Joseph, The Chomps, and This-That and the Other Thing, and enjoy food catered by the Harmony Inn.

Voodoo, Rising River, Boxcar Brew Works, Narcisi Winery, and Trails to Ales are only a few of the popular breweries attendees can sample libations from.

Tickets, on sale through North Country’s website and all of its locations, are priced at $60 for general admission and $100 for VIP tickets. VIP tickets come with a T-shirt and one-hour early access to the festival.

The brewery will offer a shuttle service to and from the Fairfield Inn and Suites on University Parkway. Attendees are encouraged to utilize the shuttle to prevent inebriated driving. Parking will be available at the SRU Federal Credit Union and the Slippery Rock Giant Eagle.
