Zac Efron is recovering after a brief hospitalization in Spain following a “minor swimming incident” at a villa in Ibiza Friday night.

A rep for the 36-year-old “Family Affair” star told TMZ that Efron had been taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure but was released Saturday morning and is doing fine.

Two employees of the villa found the “High School Musical” alum in the pool and pulled him out, sources with direct knowledge told the outlet. However, it’s unclear what happened that led Efron to needing help.

Reps for Efron did not immediately respond to the Daily News’ request for comment.

This isn’t the “Iron Claw” star’s only medical incident in recent years. In 2019, Efron was airlifted to a hospital in Brisbane, Australia, after he suffered a case of typhoid.

He had reportedly contracted the deadly bacterial infection in Papua New Guinea, where he was filming his adventure reality series “Killing Zac Efron,” which followed him for 21 days spent “off the grid.”

“I tend to thrive under extreme circumstances and seek out opportunities that challenge me on every level,” Efron said upon the series’ announcement.

Cardi B asks court to award her primary custody of her children with Offset, divorce records show

NEW YORK — Cardi B is seeking primary custody of her children with rapper Offset, including a baby on the way, court records in the couple's divorce show.

The Grammy-winning hip-hop superstar is also seeking child support from Offset, known for his successful solo career and role in the trap group Migos.

Details of Cardi B's requests were included in divorce documents obtained Friday, a day afetr they were filed Thursday in New Jersey Superior Court in Bergen County.

Cardi B, 31, and Offset, 32, have two children together: 6-year-old daughter Kulture and 2-year-old son Wave. She is pregnant with their third child, which she announced in an Instagram post Thursday. The filings state Offset is the father.

The filing says that for the past six months, Cardi B and Offset, whose birth names are Belcalis Almanzar and Kiari Cephus respectively, “have experienced irreconcilable differences ... There is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation between the parties.”

A representative for Cardi B told The Associated Press on Thursday: “This is not based on any one particular incident, it has been a long time coming and is amicable.”

The hip-hop power couple were secretly wed on Sept. 20, 2017, in Atlanta. They only announced their engagement a month later.

Cardi B, raised in the South Bronx, came to fame as a cast member on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: New York” before launching a booming rap career with her Grammy-winning first and only album, “Invasion of Privacy,” and its inescapable No. 1 songs “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It,” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin.

Her profile has only grown in the years since, through other No. 1 songs like when she joined Maroon 5 for 2018’s “Girls Like You,” 2020’s “WAP” with Megan The Stallion and 2021’s “Up.”

The details in court records were first reported Friday by celebrity website TMZ.

In 2020, Cardi B previously filed for divorce from Offset in the state of Georgia, claiming her marriage was “irretrievably broken.” She later withdrew the filing.

Pauly Shore, Richard Simmons’ family clash over biopic weeks after death

A war of words is brewing over Pauly Shore’s unauthorized biopic on Richard Simmons, who died July 13 at the age of 76.

The fitness guru’s survivors are throwing cold water on Shore’s claims that he was given the blessing to go ahead with the proposed project, titled “The Court Jester.”

The 56-year-old actor told ET earlier this week,“I know he wanted me to do it”— a notion that Simmons’ brother, Lenny, and former staffers took to social media to denounce.

“Pauly Shore has recently made comments to Entertainment Tonight concerning his attempts to proceed with an unauthorized movie about Richard,” the staffers wrote Wednesday on Simmons’ X account. “You’ve seen here on Richard’s account what he had to say about the biopic.”

Shore, known for his roles in “Encino Man” and “Bio-Dome,” announced his plans for the movie ahead of the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, releasing a teaser trailer of him as a dead ringer for the“Sweatin’ to the Oldies” star.

Simmons, who lived as a recluse for much of the past decade, came out of seclusion to disavow the project a day later in a Facebook post.

“You may have heard they may be doing a movie about me with Pauly Shore,” he wrote in January. “I have never given my permission for this movie. So don’t believe everything you read.”

Shore told ET this week that he questioned whether it was really Simmons “tweeting the whole time,” implying someone else was behind the disapproving posts.

Simmons’ brother also addressed that claim on Wednesday, saying that he “absolutely wrote his own posts.”

“He worked on them a week in advance, going over and over them to get the right message,” Lenny said in follow-up tweets. “What he has NOT done was to text, email or call Pauly with anything; not even to wish him ‘Good Luck’ as Pauly has stated many times.”

“The Court Jester ” is currently still in development at The Wolper Organization with writer Jordan Allen-Dutton attached.

The company said in January they would“love to have [Simmons] involved” in the project, but regardless planned to “produce a movie that honors him, celebrates him and tells a dramatic story.”
