HARMONY — Council was updated Tuesday evening that it is still in a waiting period for several permits and easements that require approval before continuing to tackle the ongoing stormwater issue in the area.

“We are slowly doing some improvements here with the stormwater,” said council vice president Don Sims. “It’s been something that has taken awhile for us to get through everything, get the plans together and getting people to agree from a number of different areas. It’s very time-consuming.”

The borough’s engineer estimated that once the stormwater projects are given the go-ahead it will take about two months to complete since the segments of the road to be worked on are fairly short.
