Pennsylvania American Water crews are working to repair a water main break in Butler Wednesday morning, Aug. 7.

According to the company’s website, the break occurred at 7 a.m. on West New Castle Street between Hansen Avenue and Mercer Street.

Residents in the affected area may experience discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure or no water flow.

Repairs are expected to take approximately nine hours to complete, according to the company’s alert.
