Margaret M. Abulencia, 85, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born on Jan. 31, 1939, in Wilkinsburg, to the late Michael and Margaret (Davis) O’Hara.

Margaret was a lifetime member of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church and worked there as a Catholic education coordinator. She was also a member of the Pittsburgh Regia Legion of Mary. Margaret enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making rosaries, and nature.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Maria (Chris) Conrad; as well as her numerous friends, including her closest friend, Father Nick Argentieri.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband, Porfirio B. Abulencia, who passed away on Oct. 22, 2009; her two brothers, Michael and Martin O’Hara; as well as her sister, Sister Mary O’Hara.

ABULENCIA — A Mass of Christian burial for Margaret M. Abulencia, who died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at All Saints Parish, St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 1660 N. Main St. Extension, Butler, with Father Nick Argentieri officiating.

A committal service will then be held at Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001.
