Cathey and Ron McCormick

Ron and Cathey McCormick, of Butler Township, will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 11 at St. Anthony Antiochian Orthodox Church, 400 S. Sixth Ave., Butler.

McCormick married the former Cathey Rice on Aug. 10, 1974, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Ark.

They have one child, Adam McCormick of Butler.

The McCormicks also have three grandchildren.

McCormick is retired with 22 years of military service.

Mrs. McCormick is a retired medical technologist.

The McCormicks are members of St. Anthony Antiochian Orthodox Church.
