Nina Hagen

Hagen

Nina Hagen passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at age 93. She was a resident of Cranberry Township, formerly of Greensburg.

Nina spent 56 wonderful years married to Oskar Hagen, who passed away in 2014. She was the loving mother of Linda (Joe Kalinoski) Hagen and Brian (Christy) Hagen; and the doting grandmother of Garrett and Gavin Hagen and Nikita, Nickolai and Diana Kalinoski.

Nina was a longtime member of New Community Church. Some of her happiest memories, and lifelong friends, were centered around this church community.

HAGEN — Family of Nina Hagen, who died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, will welcome friends from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday Aug. 11, 2024 at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, 1600 Stone Mansion Drive at Route 910, Sewickley (Franklin Park/Wexford). A service will follow after visitation at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Private burial will occur on Monday at Pinewood Memorial Park in Cranberry Township, where Nina will finally be reunited with her beloved “Os.”

Those who knew Nina know she was devoted to a life of service with a special passion for helping our U.S. veterans as well as feeding those in need. Her two favorite nonprofits were: Light of Life Rescue Mission, a Christian nonprofit devoted to feeding and sheltering the unhoused in the local area, and Tunnel to Towers, a national nonprofit dedicated to building homes for injured veterans and first responders.
