High school golf roundup: Stephen Evans’ 33 leads Freeport to win; Butler girls fall
Freeport’s Stephen Evans got the better of the back nine at Buffalo Golf Course, carding a 3-under 33 on Monday to lead the Yellowjackets to a 190-244 season-opening win over Highlands.
Aiden Bauman added a 38 and Ethan Crooks a 39 for Freeport.
