Tomsey

Agnes R. Tomsey, 95, of Butler, passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Born April 13, 1929, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Mega) Tomsey.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church.

Agnes took pleasure in feeding birds and designing flower arrangements. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Joan Tomsey of Butler; her special niece and caregiver, Judy Mohan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward, John, Francis and Joseph; also, three sisters, Mary Nebel, Margaret Nebel and an infant sister, Eveline; and her sister-in-law, Anna Tomsey.

TOMSEY — Friends of Agnes R. Tomsey, who died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Butler. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
