High school golf roundup: Joe Rapp’s stellar 33 leads A-C Valley/Union; Butler boys, girls lose
A-C Valley/Union boys golf’s Joe Rapp shot a 33 to earn medalist honors at the first KSAC Mega Match of the season, held Tuesday at Hi-Level Golf Course.
Karns City’s Joey O'Donnell (37) and Chloe Fritch (38) both came in with sub-40 scores, as did Moniteau’s Connor Ealy (37).
Seneca Valley 195, Butler 196 — Butler fell to 0-1 in section play despite getting nine-hole rounds of 36 from Codi Fennel and Blake Scott at Cranberry Highlands Golf Course. Seneca Valley’s Tyler Garvin tied for the low round with 36 thanks to birdies on the first two holes, and was followed closely by Marcos Lopez and Brody Pirt with 37 apiece.
