2 Butler County residents to serve as Men Wear Pink ambassadors for breast cancer

A group of 12 men from Western Pennsylvania, including three from Butler County, will be serving as ambassadors for the American Cancer Society’s ninth annual “Men Wear Pink” campaign to fight breast cancer.

Men Wear Pink is a fundraising campaign for the American Cancer Society’s mission to wipe out breast cancer, running August through October each year.

The three Butler County residents who are taking part in the campaign are doing so to honor loved ones who have battled cancer in the past.

Paul Nussbaum, of Cranberry Township, is taking part to honor his aunt, who is a breast cancer survivor.

Darin Schindler, of Mars, joined the program in honor of his wife, who is also a survivor.

Bill Stull, of Cranberry Township, is taking part to honor his mother, who lost her battle with breast cancer, as well as his father, who is currently battling prostate cancer.

So far, the Pittsburgh branch of Men Wear Pink has raised $14,396 of its goal of $100,000.
