Butler boys golf fell to 0-2 in section play Wednesday at Slippery Rock Golf Club, losing 193-194 to Pine-Richland.
Boden Lenyk and Levi McClellan each carded 35s in nine holes for the Golden Tornado, with Anthony Trombatt chipping in a 39. PR’s Roger Williams led his team with 36.
Freeport beat Leechburg via forfeit, as Leechburg did not have enough golfers. Freeport’s pair of Stephen Evans and Carson Kane carded the lowest rounds of the day at Buffalo Golf Course with 39s. Cam Zigo (40), Aiden Bauman (41) and Liam McKivigan (45) rounded out the Yellowjackets’ (2-0, 1-0 section) scoring.
