If Monopoly is becoming monotonous, Battleship is boring, or Life has lost its luster, Mars Area Public Library has just the club for you.

Those who attend Board Game Club, which meets on the third Wednesday of the month, will learn a new game each time. The first club meeting will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the library at 107 Grand Ave., Mars.

The Aug. 21 meeting will feature the game Ticket to Ride, for those ages 8 and older; Just One on Sept. 18, also for ages 8 and older; Forbidden Island on Oct. 16, for ages 10 and older; and Dixit on Nov. 20, also for ages 10 and older.
