Russell Scott, 86, of Valencia, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless.

Born April 12, 1938, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Joseph Scott and Edna Mae Hahns Scott.

Russell served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an iron worker for the Local 3. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Mary Hennon; sons, Tim Scott of Sarver and Robert (Zoey) Scott of Chicora; daughter, Louise Ann Morrel of Carnegie; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; brother, Roland Scott; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 15 brothers and sisters.

SCOTT — Friends of Russell Scott, who died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Seth McClymonds officiating.

Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
