The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is performing maintenance on a number of roads in Butler County the week of Aug. 19.

Throughout the week, the department will perform shoulder cutting on portions of Route 8, Campground Road, Franklin Road and Grove City Road; mow portions of West Sunbury Road, Oneida Valley Road, Kittanning Pike, Chicora Road and Euclid/North Washington Road; and patch Pittsburgh Road, Perry Highway and William Flinn Highway.

The department will also perform drainage work on Old New Castle Road, Whitestown Road and West Sunbury Road; seal coat Perry Highway, Portersville Road, Shannon Road, Harmony Road and Pleasant Valley Road; replace parallel pipe in Connoquenessing Township; and deck repair on Prospect Road.
