Butler convenience store sells $1 million lottery ticket

The Pennsylvania Lottery

A $1 million-winning scratch-off lottery ticket was sold at a Quick Stop in Butler, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday, Aug. 19.

The retailer at 408 S. Main St. sold the $1 million-winning All Cash Scratch-Off ticket for $20. Quick Stop will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Scratch-Off prizes expire one year from the game's end-sale date posted at www.palottery.com. The Pennsylvania Lottery encourages winners to immediately sign the back of their ticket and call the organization at 1-800-692-7481.

Scratch-offs are distributed at random. The organization learns where winning tickets are sold only after a prize has been claimed.
