An 11-year-old Taylor Swift fan who was the sole survivor in a July car crash that killed her father and two siblings is hoping to meet her idol when she attends the Eras tour show in Indianapolis this fall.

Aubrey Bogacki was hospitalized for 19 days with numerous critical injuries after the July 20 auto accident. Her father, Nathan Bogacki, 44; sister Emma, 17, and brother Grant, 13, were all killed in the crash, which her mother witnessed, according to the nonprofit Jamie’s Dream Team.

Founded by Jamie Ward in 2005, the organization assists “qualifying individuals who are handicapped, disabled, terminally ill, severely injured or suffering from a serious medical condition, disease, or trauma,” according to its website. The day Aubrey came home, Ward surprised her with tickets to an Eras Tour show in Indianapolis in November. Now she’s hoping to bring it a step further.

“We need Taylor Swift to meet this girl,” Ward told People, even just for “five minutes.”

Even better, she said, would be if Aubrey were chosen to receive the black fedora that the singer bestows to a fan during the song “22” at every concert on the tour.

Aubrey is recuperating at home, still with a cast on her arm and a brace encasing her neck and spine.

“Oh my gosh, my heart would be so full,” Ward told People of the possibility of her young charge meeting her idol. “That needs to be the final piece of her puzzle … to move on, to be able to have that strength to keep going.”

The crash occurred in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, when the SUV the family was traveling in crossed the center line, hit two utility poles, smashed into a parked car, became airborne and hit a tree. The community has rallied around the family, with an online funding drive pulling in more than $177,000 to date.
