Catherine ‘Cass’ Kickler-Kocak

Catherine “Cass” Kickler-Kocak, 67, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, surrounded by loved ones after a fiercely fought battle with breast cancer.

She was born in Pittsburgh on July 2, 1957, to the late John and Catherine (Wittig) Kickler. She graduated from the Pittsburgh Art Institute and was employed as a graphic artist in Florida. Cass was creative, artistic, loved animals, especially horses, and was generous beyond compare, with the best sense of humor. She loved to garden and create beauty.

Cass is survived by her loving life partner, Lee Claus. She was the mother of Matthew and Jarrad Kocak; and sister of Janet (Robert Brown) Zottola, Paula (Tom) Duffy, John (Nina) Kickler, Dee (Jim) Krahe and Sheri (Mark) Graham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her loving rabbit, Thermie, and her cat, Pete.

KICKLER-KOCAK — All services for Catherine “Cass” Kickler-Kocak, who died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Catherine of Sweden Catholic Church, 2254 Wildwood Road, Allison Park.
