Helicopter called for ATV rider following Summit Township crash

The rider of an ATV was taken to the hospital by a medical helicopter for his injuries following a Thursday, Aug. 22, crash with a car near the 300 block of Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township, according to officials.
The road was closed between Headland and Herman roads while state police investigated the collision between the two vehicles, which was reported around 3:40 p.m. at 359 Bonniebrook Road.
The road reopened at about 5:10 p.m.
