A Butler Township man was charged with threatening to kill his 70-year-old brother.

Michael J. Buzas, 62, was charged with terroristic threats and simple assault following the Aug. 20 incident at their home on Elizabeth Drive, according to township police.

Police said the older brother reported that he was in the basement when Buzas yelled to him that he was going to kill him. The older brother said he retreated into a bathroom in fear when Buzas came down the steps, police said.

He said Buzas pounded on the bathroom door and then punctured his waterbed, police said.
