Sentence court

The following people were sentenced Thursday, Aug. 22, in Butler County Common Pleas Court.

Drake M. Kennedy, 31, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation after pleading guilty to a disorderly conduct charge filed by Butler Township police following a July 18, 2023, incident.

Garrick J. Marshman Jr., 30, of Braddock, was sentenced to concurrently serve 11 months and 15 days to 23 months in jail in two cases, but was immediately paroled and ordered to pay a $500 fine after pleading guilty to felony criminal trespass and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver charges filed by Butler police following incidents on Nov. 22 and 23.

Chad W. Mitchell, 46, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation, including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $500 fine and complete litter pickup and 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a DUI charge filed by state police following a Dec. 24 incident.

Louis E. Nesbitt, 41, of Cabot, was sentenced to serve six months of probation after pleading guilty to a disorderly conduct charge filed by Saxonburg police following a Dec. 15 incident in Summit Township.

James K. Parker, 51, of Youngstown, Ohio, was sentenced to serve 30 months of probation, pay a $300 fine and complete litter pickup and 20 hours of community service after pleading guilty to DUI, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia filed by state police following a Sept. 16 incident in Franklin Township.
