High school sports roundup: Seneca Valley girls tennis tops Butler; Freeport, Butler golf win matches
Seneca Valley earned a 3-2 girls tennis victory Monday at Butler.
The Raiders (2-2, 1-1) earned singles victories thanks to the efforts of Sydney Blucher and Cady Shea while Anna Coon and Giannna Guandolo won in doubles action.
For Butler (3-1, 1-1), Laini Spohn and the doubles team of Cassie Busler/Lindsey Lipp scored wins.

Freeport’s Stephen Evans fired a 36 and teammate Ethan Crooks a 38 to lead the Yellowjackets to a 191-244 win over Valley at Buffalo Golf Course. Freeport improved to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in section play.
