Allen Ruben

Allen D. Ruben, 95, of Saxonburg, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024, at his home.

Born Aug. 16, 1929, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Hyman Ruben and the late Minnie (Mandelbaum) Ruben.

Mr. Ruben drove tractor trailer for the Teamsters and was Jewish by faith.

Mr. Ruben is survived by his two daughters, Darlene Mullen and Linda Ruben; one son, Charles Ruben and his wife, Christina; his grandchildren, Michael Ruben, Jeremy Ruben, Jaime Ruben, Frank Ibarra and Jessica Ibarra; a number of great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Fern “Fay” Ruben, whom he married on Sept. 14, 1948, and who passed away April 16, 2015; two brothers, Carl and Jerry Ruben; two sisters, Bessie Eisenfeld and Esther Marcus; and one grandson, Greg Mullen.

RUBEN — A graveside service for Allen D. Ruben, who died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Congregation B'nai Abraham Cemetery, 241 Portman Road, Butler, with Cantor Michal Gray-Schaffer, of the Congregation B'nai Abraham, officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
