Grant Bogacki

Grant Bogacki

Grant Bogacki, a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, teammate and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 20, 2024, along with his loving sister, Emma Bogacki, and father, Nathan Bogacki. He was born on Aug. 28, 2010, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Grant attended Riverside Elementary School, Ellwood City Elementary School and Howland Middle School. He was about to enter his eighth grade year and graduate in 2029. His hard work ethic and constant smile earned him the admiration of both teachers and peers throughout the school.

Outside of school, Grant enjoyed fishing and playing baseball and basketball. Being outdoors was his happy place, as he enjoyed exploring and building things out of anything he could find. He loved attending his sisters' sporting events and cheering them on, being known as their No. 1 fan. On the baseball field, his coaches admired his strong arm, leadership, coachability and, most of all, his willingness to be a team player. Grant's smile, kind heart and adventurous spirit touched everyone he met.

Grant is survived by his loving mother, Nicole Bogacki; and his sister, Aubrey. He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Samuel and Janice Aloi; paternal grandparents, Edward and Patricia Bogacki; aunts and uncles, Natalie and David Syka and Amy and Mike Hepak; and loving cousins, Maddie, Tyler and Makinley Syka, and Taytum and Kenzie Hepak.

He was met at heaven's gate by his maternal great-grandparents, Frank and Dorothy Horniak and Samuel and Catherine Aloi; paternal great-grandparents, Edward and Mary Louise Bogacki and Edward and Virginia Baker; and all his beloved pets that have crossed the rainbow bridge.

Grant's legacy of kindness, hard work and love for all things outdoors will continue to inspire and be missed by all who knew him.
