Police Reports
The following items were collected from various police departments.
July 30 — Levarron Petty, 25, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats and harassment related to a July 30 report made at the station. Police said directly following a breakup, Petty sent multiple threatening messages to his ex-girlfriend, including threats to kill her and images of guns.
10:29 a.m. July 31 — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash on Route 68. Police said Raymond R. Ondic Jr., 38, of Butler, drove his vehicle into the back of one driven by Laura K. Crago, 44, of Evans City, which pushed into a vehicle driven by Kenneth C. Hespenheide, 66, of Sarver. Police said Crago suffered a minor injury from the crash and her vehicle was towed from the scene. Police cited Ondic for speeding.
11:34 a.m. July 20 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the end of the Picklegate Crossing Bridge. Police said Anne Donlan, 67, of Saxonburg, was cited for following too closely, after she drove her car into the back of one driven by Larry Rottman, 81, of Butler.
Aug. 1 — Morgan C. Coulson, 24, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI related to a July 21 incident on Route 19. Police said field sobriety tests showed Coulson was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at .225%. In Pennsylvania, .08% is the legal limit.
July 30 — Joseph W. Pierce, 45, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a July 29 vehicle crash on Interstate 79. Police said Pierce refused to perform field sobriety tests and a later blood test after he was taken to a hospital. Police said they smelled alcohol on Pierce’s breath, and his eyes appeared glassy.
July 30 — Gregory P. Paulson, 56, of Baden, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI and huffing related to a March 8 traffic stop in the Walmart parking lot. Police said field sobriety tests showed Paulson was impaired, and a later blood test showed difluoroethane, often found in aerosol cans, in his blood.
July 20 — Allen M. Moore, 36, and Mary K. Hogan, 31, both of Coudersport, were charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession related to a Feb. 8 report of two people sleeping in a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. Police said they found pair with multiple empty stamp bags, a glass pipe, a plastic pipe, lighters, Chore Boy cleaner and burnt tin foil.
July 31 — Omar Rodriguez-Moreno, 30, of Deer Park, Texas, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI related to a July 27 traffic stop on North Main Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed Rodriguez-Moreno was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at .152%. In Pennsylvania, .08% is the legal limit.
