Local author, state police officer to discuss true crime at library

A Pennsylvania author will lead a discussion on true crime Sept. 9 at the Butler Area Public Library.
Todd R. Bromley will speak at 1 p.m. on his book, “Depravity in the Darkness,” alongside retired state police Cpl. Danny McKnight, for an afternoon discussion on crimes that happened in Slippery Rock.
Bromley will be signing copies of his book, which will be available for purchase at the event. No registration is required to attend.
