Update: Missing Jefferson Township teen is found
A missing Jefferson Township teen was located around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 nearly 12 hours after he went missing.
The 17-year-old from Jefferson Township, Tanner Crowe, was located safely and returned to his family, the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company said in a social media post.
The teen had been last seen at 10 p.m. Wednesday night off Nursery Lane, according to the fire company.
Several emergency response departments were reported to be dispatched at 11:07 p.m. Wednesday to a home in the 100 block of Nursery Lane, where they remained for almost five hours.
The road was closed for the search, but reopened around 9:30 a.m.
