Butler police: Man shot in leg Friday morning
Butler police responded shortly after midnight Friday, Aug. 30, to the 400 block of East Jefferson Street where a 32-year-old man from Youngstown, Ohio, suffered a single gunshot to the leg.
Police said there appeared to be some kind of confrontation that preceded the shooting, and the victim was uncooperative at the scene.
The man was treated by Butler Ambulance Service and transported to Butler Memorial Hospital before being flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he received further treatment.
He was in stable condition as of Friday morning, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call the Butler Bureau of Police.
