Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments.

Butler Twp

Aug. 2 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 356 near Benevan Square. Police said Luke Trzeciak, 23, of Cranberry Township, pulled his vehicle in front of one driven by Ashley Vargo, 39, of Butler. Police said Vargo suffered a minor injury and was released by EMS at the scene. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and police cited Trzeciak with a traffic violation.

Cranberry Twp

Aug. 19 — Terrik M. Pullin, 43, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a July 21 vehicle crash on Pendleton Way. Police said field sobriety tests showed Pullin was impaired. He later refused to have his blood tested.

Aug. 2 — Ariana J. Calabrese, 29, of McKees Rocks, was charged with felony counts of retail theft and possessing stolen property related to a July 24 incident at Kohl’s. Police said she stole about $225 worth of clothing items by hiding them in her purse. Calabrese has 13 past retail theft convictions.

Slippery Rock

Aug. 6 — Nicholas J. Bauder, 36, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Aug. 1 single-vehicle crash into a light pole that flipped the vehicle onto its roof. Police said field sobriety tests showed Bauder was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.116%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

State Police, Butler

Aug. 7 — Logan McPeak, 19, of Butler, was charged with felony counts of theft and possessing stolen property related to a vehicle stolen Aug. 6 from GetGo on New Castle Road in Franklin Township. Police said McPeak matched the description of the thief, and they later found the vehicle’s key at McPeak’s home.

Aug. 7 — Elijah S. Myers, 25, of Chicora, was charged with felony possessing stolen property and multiple misdemeanor counts of drug possession, drug paraphernalia possession and DUI related to a report of a drunken driver at Sheetz on North Main Street Extension in Center Township. Police said they identified the vehicle Myers was driving as stolen, and during his arrest, they found him in possession of crack cocaine, heroin, smoking pipes and wax papers.

Aug. 3 — Josiah D. Scharding, 31, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor unlawful dissemination of intimate images related to images sent in April. Police said Scharding sent images of someone to another person.

Aug. 2 — Elijah H. Stewart, 26, of Grove City, was charged with one felony count of possessing a counterfeit device and misdemeanor counts of theft and possessing stolen property related to a June 10 investigation into a theft on Mercer Street in Harrisville. Police said Stewart stole someone’s debit card and made multiple withdrawals worth a total of $1,126.50.

Aug. 2 — Amanda G. Foran, 39, of Summit Township, was charged with misdemeanor counts of simple assault and resisting arrest related to an Aug. 5 domestic incident at her home on Carbon Center Road. Police said while investigating the incident, Foran punched another woman multiple times in front of officers. Police said Foran then pulled away from officers during her arrest.

Aug. 2 — Zinnie H.D. Bice, 38, of Slippery Rock, was charged with 10 counts of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image related to texts he sent on March 22. Police said Bice sent intimate text messages of someone to another person.

Aug. 2 — William J. Simmons, 26, of Chicora, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI related to a July 4 traffic stop on Route 422 in Franklin Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Simmons was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.185%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.
