The GFWC Intermediate League of Butler will celebrate the upcoming 2024-25 club year with an opening dinner at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at Christ Community Methodist Church, 205 North Duffy Road, Butler.

The social time at 5:30 will be followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The business meeting will be held after dinner.

Members are asked to bring nonperishable food items and/or hygiene products to support GFWC Day of Service’s Awareness and Relief of Food Insecurity.

The products will be donated to the BC3 Pioneer Pantry, which supports students at Butler County Community College who are food insecure.

Reservations for the opening dinner can be made by sending a check for $26 to club member Carole Goldinger. Checks, which are due by Sept. 12, should be made payable to “GFWC Intermediate League.”
