Toni Settlemire-Taylor
Toni K. Settlemire-Taylor, 73, of Lawrenceville, formerly of Mars, passed away on Friday morning, Sept. 6, 2024, at her home in Lawrenceville.
Born in Butler on Nov. 17, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Dale and Elaine Settlemire.
Toni graduated from Mars High School in 1969 and attended Butler County Community College.
She was a member of Crestview Community Church in Callery. Toni was an accomplished organist and played at several weddings and other events over the years.
She was a member of Rainbow for Girls Chapter 271 in Mars and also a State Grand Lecturer for Rainbow for Girls.
Toni started her career at Tom Henry Chevrolet and then had several other jobs through the years.
Surviving are her son, Richard P. Merdian Jr. and his wife, Sarah Tucker, and their sons, Corbin and Isaac, all of Conway; her brother, Scott Settlemire of Mars; a sister-in-law, Kathy Ross Settlemire of Mars; two nephews, R. Grant Settlemire and his wife, Stefanie, of Evans City and Eric M. Settlemire of Valencia; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Settlemire; and her first husband, Richard P. Merdian.
SETTLEMIRE-TAYLOR — Arrangements for Toni K. Settlemire-Taylor, who died Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, are private under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
