75 years of the Herman VFC celebrated

Herman Volunteer Fire Company observed its 75th anniversary with a community celebration at its Herman Road location in Summit Township.
It featured activities for children — a high-flying bungee, an animal park and an obstacle course — presentations on drug awareness, a wood carving demonstration, search-and-rescue dog demonstrations and more.
The entertainment included a Hawaiian show, a magic show and live music by The Jentz.
The event concluded with fireworks at dusk.
