Butler County Community College and VA Butler Healthcare have joined together to host Personal Empowerment Training starting Wednesday from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center, 353 N. Duffy Road, Butler.

Classes will take place weekly through Nov. 14. Participants will learn about the importance of emotional intelligence and how to use it, including 40 empowerment concepts such as beliefs, self-esteem, empathy, active listening and managing conflict.
