PennDOT maintenance for week of Sept. 16

The state Department of Transportation has announced the following maintenance projects for the week of Sept. 16.

A portion of the deck of Interstate 79 running through Butler County is being repaired.

West Liberty Road in Slippery Rock Township, as well as Centreville Pike in Slippery Rock and Brady townships, will undergo shoulder cutting.

Route 8 will undergo shoulder stabilization in Slippery Rock and Mercer townships. In Clay, Muddy Creek and Center townships, it will be patched.

Hallston Road and Keister Road, both in Clay Township, will be paved.

Interstate 79 will undergo crack sealing.

Pipes will be replaced under Whitestown Road in Butler Township.

The following roads will be mowed: Oneida Valley Road in Concord Township, Chicora Road in Donegal Township, Eau Claire Road in Mercer Township, Euclid Road in Clay Township, and West Sunbury Road in Marion Township.
