Harrington

Regis W. Harrington Jr., 82, of Evans City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024.

He was born Nov. 14, 1941, son of the late Regis W. Sr. and Clara Harrington.

He was the beloved husband of JoAnn Harrington, whom he married on Aug. 24, 1985; and brother of David (Kathy) Harrington and the late Ronald (surviving Patty) Harrington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Rege was preceded in death by his niece, Holly.

He was a graduate of Carnegie Tech and worked as a mechanical engineer. He belonged to several engineering societies.

Rege collected Lionel trains. He adored his cats and pets and enjoyed landscaping his yard.

HARRINGTON — Family and friends of Regis W. Harrington Jr., who died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, are welcome from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Regis will be held at 4:15 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Matt Price.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Regis’ name to the Butler County Humane Society.
