Trump visits Sprankle’s in Kittanning

Former President Donald Trump paid a visit to the Sprankle’s Neighborhood Market in Kittanning on Monday, Sept. 23, as part of a visit to Western Pennsylvania.
Ryan Sprankle, the owner of the Kittanning Sprankle’s location, was thrilled with the former president’s visit, saying Trump seemed genuinely interested in what the independent grocery store had to offer.
“It was an amazing experience,” Sprankle said. “He was very interested in the store. He insisted on seeing the store, so I gave him a tour of the store, and he actually purchased a big bag of popcorn. It was insane.
“Regardless of political affiliation, anytime you have a chance to have somebody of that magnitude come into your store, it's a real honor,” Sprankle said.
