Actress Cheryl Hines spends birthday in Milan sans husband RFK Jr. or ring
Actress Cheryl Hines was spotted in Milan over the weekend without a wedding ring or husband RFK Jr. amid news he and a New York magazine reporter once had a “personal relationship.”
If RFK Jr.’s support for Republican Donald Trump as president wasn’t tough enough for the die-hard Democrat to take, disclosure of the interaction he allegedly had with New York reporter Olivia Nuzzi may have curbed her enthusiasm.
Hines stopped by Milan Fashion Week on Saturday with her daughter, Catherine Young, and stepdaughter Kyra Kennedy, People reported. Saturday was also the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star’s 59th birthday, and she spent it attending several designer shows and supporting Kyra Kennedy as she walked the Gucci runway, People reported.
Young supported her mom by posting a celebratory birthday-dinner snap in her Instagram stories.
“Happy birthday to the best mother,” wrote Young, according to People. “I really don’t know how I got so lucky.”
RFK Jr. was also missing from the pre-wedding festivities of his niece Grace Kennedy at the family’s Hyannis Port, Mass., compound, People reported. It was not clear whether he would be at the wedding itself, the magazine noted.
New York had placed Washington correspondent Nuzzi on leave last week after she disclosed a “personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign while she was reporting on the campaign,” the magazine’s editors said in a statement Thursday. Nuzzi had written a profile of RFK Jr. that ran in November 2023 and said she had finished her reporting before firing up a relationship that never turned physical.
RFK Jr.’s camp brushed off the notion that anything had transpired between them.
“Mr. Kennedy only met Olivia Nuzzi once in his life for an interview she requested, which yielded a hit piece,” a Kennedy spokesman told CNN.

‘Call Me Maybe’ singer Carly Rae Jepsen is ‘very engaged’
Singer Carly Rae Jepsen is getting married.
“Very engaged over here,” the “I Really Like You” singer captioned an Instagram carousel of photos showing off her engagement ring and fiancé.
Jepsen and record producer Cole Marsden Greif-Neill, known professionally as Cole M.G.N., have been an item since at least November 2022 when their relationship became publicly known.
The 38-year-old Canadian crooner became a household name in 2012 with her hit single “Call Me Maybe.” She performed in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” on Broadway in 2014.
Jepsen completed her “So Nice Tour” in August 2023. It included a pair of shows on the South Street Seaport that month before wrapping up in Los Angeles.
Fans congratulated Jepsen on her big announcement Monday. At least one supporter thinks her songwriting will benefit from the experience.
“Oh this next album finna slap!” wrote Instagram user @wigleyjackson.
Jepsen told People last year that her fans can expect to see future collaborations between herself and her beau. She seemed happy with their creative dynamic.
“It’s really wild getting to travel and have somebody understand what you do and be like, ‘Go chase everything. I’m here when you’re home,'” Jepsen said.

Bam Margera back in jail over alleged DUI parole violation
“Jackass” star Brandon Cole “Bam” Margera was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and is once again behind bars in Pennsylvania for alleged parole violation.
Margera, 44, was taken into custody earlier this week and sent to Chester County Prison, where he will remain until a court appearance scheduled for Monday, according to court documents obtained by the Philadelphia Inquirer on Thursday. He was stopped by police on Wednesday and charged with a misdemeanor for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
The hearing next week will determine whether the charge is violation of the court-supervised parole he was placed under over the summer.
Margera pleaded guilty in June to two counts of disorderly conduct as part of a plea deal that allowed him to avoid prison time. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in April 2023 while Margera was visiting his brother, Jess Margera, at the family’s home in Pocopson, Pa., also known as “Castle Bam.”
The “ Jackass” star became enraged after reading a text message suggesting he needed mental health treatment. He repeatedly struck his brother, rupturing his eardrum, and kicked in a bedroom door before the police were called. He also said he would “put a bullet” in the heads of his mother and father and repeatedly threatened Jess’ girlfriend, according to Mainline Times & Suburban.
“I just want to says thanks for this whole situation,” Margera told the court upon sentencing. “It lets me clean up my life. It is a blessing in disguise.”
Margera’s plea deal included six months of supervised probation. It also required that he pay fine and undergo drug-testing throughout the probation period.
Back in 2021, Margera was fired from “Jackass Forever,” which would have marked his stunt-laden return to the franchise alongside Ryan Dunn, Steve-O and Johnny Knoxville. The production company at the time said he failed to live up to a wellness agreement he had signed to be in the film.
