The attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at the Butler Farm Show on July 13 was a traumatic event for the people of Butler County.

Butler County Critical Incident Stress Management

Operates: Butler County Critical Incident Stress Management (Butler County CISM) is an intervention protocol developed to deal specifically with traumatic events. It is a formal, highly structured and professionally recognized process for helping individuals involved in a critical incident to share their experiences, vent emotions, and learn about stress reactions and symptoms. It is not psychotherapy. It is a confidential and voluntary educative process. Butler County CISM supports firefighters, police, medics and emergency medical technicians, businesses, schools, jails, hospitals and communities.
