Judy K. Scott, 79, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Butler, passed away on Monday morning, Sept. 23, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler on May 29, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Kathleen Barkley Kelley.

Judy had been a wedding cake decorator and had also been an assisted living caregiver with St. Barnabas.

She was a former member of the Middlesex Presbyterian Church and attended Hope Lutheran Church in Cranberry Township.

Judy enjoyed camping and went from tent camping to motor homes. She was a member of Family Campers and RVers and had been active with Moraine Blazing Stars Camping Club.

Surviving are her sons, Dennis Scott Jr. (Allen) in Maryland, Shawn Scott (Amy) of Mars and Jeremy Scott (Lindsey) in New Jersey; and her grandchildren, Madison, Ethan, Colin, Riley, Finn and Jude.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis L. Scott, whom she married on Oct. 26, 1968, and who died on March 23, 2016; and by her brothers, Harold, Harvey and Fred Kelley.

SCOTT — Friends of Judy K. Scott, who died Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Closing remarks will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
