One hundred cancer survivors will join UPMC Passavant and the Passavant Hospital Foundation in celebrating cancer survivors at the hospital’s annual luminaria event on Thursday, Sep. 26.

Nearly 1,000 lights will line the hospital grounds in honor of those affected by the disease. Other activities include messages from a health care professional and a cancer survivor.

The event will take place at UPMC McCandless at 9100 Babcock Boulevard. Guests are welcome to arrive anytime between 4:30 and 7 p.m. and are encouraged to bring appropriate mobility aids and comfortable footwear.
