JD Vance to stop in Monroeville, Pa., this weekend
WASHINGTON — No sooner than one candidate leaves Western Pennsylvania, another arrives.
U.S. Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, is scheduled to appear in Monroeville on Saturday at a town hall meeting hosted by Christian broadcaster Lance Wallnau. The event is scheduled for the Monroeville Convention Center, which recently was bought by the municipality of Monroeville after the previous owners dropped plans to close the facility.
Later that day, Vance is scheduled to head across the state to Newtown, in the Philadelphia suburbs, for a rally there.
And Donald Trump will be in Erie on Sunday, holding a rally at the Bayfront Convention Center there.
In addition, the former president will return to the Butler Farm Show grounds on Oct. 5. That’s where he was shot in July in a attempted assassination.
