I want to write to express my concern over another Trump campaign visit to our county.

With the events that occurred last time, I feel that another visit will only bring more hate and division at a time where we desperately need unity.

Recent false comments made by both former President Donald Trump and Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance have left communities like Springfield, Ohio, in a complete disarray. Is this really what we want for Butler?

How can we be sure that Trump will not come here and spread lies and misinformation?

Additionally, does Butler realistically have the resources to handle another presidential candidate visit? Did Trump and his team pay last time, or was it thrust onto the taxpayers?

While the community is still healing from what occurred at the last event, it feels far too sensitive and fragile to allow another visit.
