Roger ‘R.J.’ Davis Jr.
Roger “R.J.” Davis Jr., 24, of Lyndora, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024.
He was born in Butler on March 23, 2000, to Kelly (Laura Bivona) Davis and Roger (Christy Beer) Davis Sr.
R.J. graduated from Highlands High School in 2018 and most recently was employed in the iron workers union; before that he was employed for three years in the laborers’ union.
He was known for having a great soul and being a very giving person. R.J. was described as being devoted, trusted and a hard worker who loved to live a free life. R.J. was a part of the Danes Motorcycle Club and French and Belgium. He enjoyed kayaking, camping, being outdoors, and riding his Harley. He is loved and missed by many.
He was the father of Bennett “Duane” Davis; fiancé of Mary Jane Kerner; and brother of Jillian (Robert) Hughes, Amber Leonard and Olivia Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew.
DAVIS — Family and friends of Roger “R.J.” Davis Jr., who died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
