So it begins again, even before his arrival. The chaos, the confusion, the upheaval about is he coming or is he not?

For the benefit and safety and expense of our community, I hoped he was not.

I am certainly in favor and support of any candidate who wants to respectfully and professionally visit our home and not bring hatred and divisiveness along for the ride; but history tells us with former President Donald Trump that won’t happen.

Can Butler County afford more dollars to support a candidate who pushes his way into a community? There is always a cost, even with comp time.

Many residents (and those from far away) will welcome his chaos and confusion and name calling, but what about those of us who don’t? Do our voices matter? We are residents, too, represented by the same elected officials.
