Vehicle fire slows traffic along Route 8 in Penn Township Monday afternoon

Smoke billowed into the already gray sky on Monday afternoon, Sept. 30 when a semi-truck caught fire along Route 8 near its intersection with Thorncrest Drive in Penn Township.
Traffic slowed as first responders showed up to put out the fire.
The vehicle fire was reported at about 1:52 p.m.
