The Pennsylvania Game Commission, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, announced the release of a new Pennsylvania sportsman license plate that is now available for purchase through PennDOT.

The design features traditional Pennsylvania hunting, boating and fishing imagery, including a white-tailed deer, ruffed grouse and anglers fishing from a kayak on a river.

The plate will cost $40 plus a registration fee. $14 from each plate purchased will go into a Youth Hunting and Fishing Restricted Account to be distributed evenly between the game commission and the fish and boat commission to promote youth hunting and fishing activities.

Those looking to purchase the new license plate should visit the PennDOT website, choose Special Fund and select the PA Sportsman option.
