Local toy store, Playthings Etc., 2483 Route 8, is warning the public about a fake online site that is trying to scam people.

Playthings Etc. said in a recent Facebook post that the business was recently made aware of an impostor website claiming to have an online store.

The business’s true website is playthings-etc.com, and it does not sell any items or merchandise online.

Playthings is urging the public that if they purchased anything from the scammer website, they should contact their bank or credit card company.
