Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments:

Adams Twp

Sept. 10 — Brandon P. Kenyon, 36, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession related to an Aug. 11 traffic stop on Crider Road. Police said during the stop, they saw a plastic bag containing a white substance suspected of being methamphetamine.

Sept. 3 — Roger A. Lucchini, 45, of Valencia, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Aug. 22 report of a drunken driver near a school bus stop. Police said Lucchini fled the area before police arrived, but they found him at his home about 30 minutes later. Police said field sobriety tests showed Lucchini was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.190%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Butler

Sept. 10 — Jon R. Shay, 41, of an unknown address, was charged with misdemeanors of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession related to a Sept. 10 report of harassment on North Bluff Street. During the investigation, police said they found Shay with marijuana and a glass smoking pipe.

Sept. 9 — Steven D. Boyer, 61, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks related to checks he allegedly sent to a flower distributor for his business. Police said Boyer sent 10 checks with a total value of $8,615 that bounced.

Sept. 9 — David K. Arnold, 45, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 9 report of a driver slumped behind the wheel of a vehicle at the intersection of North McKean and Charles streets. Police said Arnold used heroin before driving. Police said a blood test was performed.

Sept. 7 — Timothy P. Farnan, 50, of Butler, was charged with felony retail theft related to a Sept. 7 theft reported at Dollar General. Police said Farnan tried to steal a $9 towel.

Sept. 3 — Jeffrey A. Carroll, 46, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of trespassing and prowling related to an Aug. 23 incident on Oneida Valley Road in Cherry Valley. Police said Carroll was drunk and entered a home without permission, then began yelling and causing a commotion.

Sept. 3 — Jacob T. Wiles, 28, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft related to an Aug. 21 investigation at Dollar General on North Main Street. Police said Wiles stole a soda, valued at $5.

Sept. 3 — Kyle M. Mercer, 38, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of simple assault and resisting arrest related a domestic dispute on West Cunningham Street. Police said Mercer dragged and threw a woman around. Police said during his arrest, he pulled away from officers.
