Butler Township will host its inaugural Oktoberfest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Butler Township Park.

The free event, which will benefit Camp Cadet Troop D, will feature food prepared by the Beacon Hotel and specially crafted beers named “Bachtoberbest” and “Hit the Eastside” by Recon Brewery.

Oktoberfest will include entertainment, such as live music, vendors and a 50/50 raffle.

Organizers also noted that the event is family friendly and will have a “Kids Zone” with a pumpkin pull game, German themed activities, youth basket raffles and visits from Weird Eric, a strolling magician and balloon artist.
