Delores ‘Dee’ Cervenyak

Delores Jean “Dee” Cervenyak, 82, of Cabot, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024.

She was born April 22, 1942, in Homestead, Pa., to the late John Henry Fingal and the late Ella Blank Fingal.

Dee worked as a custodian for over 50 years, spending most of her tenure at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was also a member. She enjoyed gardening, animals, cooking, fixing things and spending time outdoors.

Dee is survived by her three daughters, Michele Critchlow of Cabot, Denise Cervenyak of Cranberry Township and Sherry Ivanko of Butler; a daughter-in-law, Laurie Kolish; 12 grandchildren, Greg Kolish, Chelsea Alga, Jeff Kolish, Natalie Linden, Robert Kolish, Taura Ivanko, Courtney Kohl, Ashley Ivanko, Sarah Ivanko, Braeden Marburger, Nicole Critchlow and Hailee Ivanko; and one great-grandchild, Parker Kohl, and three more on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, William Kolish and Mark Kolish; and one brother, John “Jack” Fingal.

CERVENYAK — Family and friends of Delores Jean “Dee” Cervenyak, who died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. A blessing service will be held immediately after visitation at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with Father Jim Kurtz of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, officiating.
